This annual summit brought together an international faculty of clinicians, academics, engineers, foundation leaders and policy makers. The summit explored transatlantic cooperation, regulatory pathways, funding opportunities, innovation obstacles and regenerative medicine.

Clinician’s presented current challenges in cardiology to Queen Mary’s and University College London’s engineering departments. This clinically focused event centred around heart failure and provided a platform for direct conversations between clinical leads and engineers in ‘speed dating’ style discussions

This general cardiovascular themed event gave the opportunity for commercial companies to showcase new technology and innovations to an audience comprised of clinicians, engineers and researchers.

This event presented further engineering solutions to the clinical issues presented during the Dragon’s Den. It centred around heart failure and inflammation and showcased new research ideas on topics including blood flow, self-powered pacing and mathematical modelling.

Engineers presented answers to the clinical issues put forward at the previous Dragon’s Den event, showcasing new research ideas and sparking collaborations

Cardiologists presented clinical problems to engineers and SMEs to inspire solutions and promote collaboration. It involved showcasing new and emerging technology, devices and research.
